Seminars, knowledge transfer and resource bank. It serves to disseminate and explain the most interesting experiences generated within the action lines of the project and its partners, as well as to systematise the knowledge, structuring it as a protocol in order to make it transferable. We refer both to the experiences of the organisation and those of the resident artists.

Seminar: How to work in network for contemporary art or how working in network helps develop contemporary art projects
Wednesday 29th November 2017, 9am-7.30pm Fondazione per l'Arte, Roma (Via del Vantaggio 17A) Free admittance, registration required The Spur 16/18 is a project based on the creation of a European cooperation network in the field of the Visual Arts and Creative Industries. The second Seminar, held in Rome, highlights how to work in network for contemporary art or how working in network helps develop contemporary art projects. The conference offers lectures by national and international specialists in the field. The programme is completed with two round table: the first of the project members, in which some results of The Spur will be exposed; and the second, composed by resident artists, winners of the first open call for creative and research residencies with professional mentoring. Seminar: Contemporary art, a spur for the recuperation of creatives spaces in cities
Saturday 1st April 2017, 9.00 am - 7.30 pm Auditori del Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Girona (Pl. Catedral, 8 – 17004 Girona) Free admittance, registration required The Spur 16/18 is a project based on the creation of a European cooperation network in the field of the Visual Arts and Creative Industries. The seminar highlights two of the project’s actions; the exploration of new forms of relationship between artistic creation and the urban and socioeconomic context as well as the activation of a creative residencies model for the research process and professional development with mentor assistance. The meeting will include a block of experiences and the results of the project by different experts, the representatives of each participating member as well as the presentation of the residencies by the resident artists themselves.
